The BS 6658-85 Type A Helmet standard will no longer be acceptable for MSA competition use after 31st December 2009.

The BS 6658-85 Type A/FR Helmet standard will replace it.

The A/FR means the helmet has a Flame Resistant Lining.

The following are a list of Helmets standards for International events and all MSA Events.

SFI Foundation 31.1A 31.2A.

BS 6658 Type A/FR
