Points and condenser.

Luminition Optronic electronic ignition is allowed on Category 2 vehicles only.

Carburation.

Single Weber or Delorto. 40 or 45 DCOE. Twin 1.5 or 1.75, S U (Not later H I F type)

Gearbox.

Four syncromesh. Straight Cut Gears. plus overdrive.

Rear Axle.

Standard axle with LSD.

Brakes.

Front. Solid brake disc. Rear: Standard drum.

Tandem master cylinder. Adjustable brake pedal box. As long as it cannot be adjusted by driver or navigator when normally seated.

Suspension.

Front. Lever arm. Rear. Lever arm. (Not Telescopic)

Wheels and Tyres.

14 inch Diameter.
A maximum of 7 inch wheel rim width is permitted.

General.

Fibre glass bonnet or boot lid. Perspex side windows.

Alloy centrally mounted replacement petrol tank.
