 Permitted modifications supported by documented evidence. 

Engine. 
V4 1698cc.  Wet sump with oil cooler. 

Ignition/Electrics. 
Standard points & Codenser.
Luminition optronic electronic ignition can only be used on Category 2 vehicles.

Carburation/Fuel system. 
Standard or Weber 40 DFI. The fitting of  twin Weber 's as shown in the picture below is permitted.  Mechanical or electric fuel pump.  

Gearbox. 
4 Speed 
  
Clutch.

The fitting of a concentric clutch slave cylinder assembly is not allowed. 

Back Axle.
Live axle. LSD is allowed. 

Steering. 
Rack and pinion.

 Suspension. 

Front.  
Coil spring with telescopic shock absorbers. 

Rear.  
Coil spring with telescopic shock absorbers. 

Brakes. 

The fitting of a dual master cylinder or any other type of device providing a simultaneous action on all four wheels and divided action on two wheels is permitted providing the original brake pedal and pivot point are used.

The remote brake bias adjuster must be positioned so that it cannot be adjusted by either the driver or co-driver when normally seated in the car. 

Front.  
Solid 267/10mm brake disc. Single piston slider type brake calliper. 

Rear:  
Drum 203/37mm. 

Wheels and Tyres. 
 
15"  x 4.5J  The fitting of tyres with an aspect ratio of  less than 70 is phrohibited

General. 

Perspex side windows. 
Front and rear bumpers must be fitted.                                                                     

Alloy centrally mounted replacement petrol tank.
